Alumnae Celebrate Reunion 2023 Gwynedd Mercy Alumnae gathered for a weekend of Reunion Activities. The weekend kicked off on Friday, October 20 with the Circle of Mercy Luncheon. This special event is for the women who graduated 50 or more years ago. Alumnae from the Classes of 1949 to 1973 enjoyed catching up over lunch at the William Penn Inn.
Saturday, October 21 was an action-packed day, starting with the Mentorship Brunch for the Class of 2024 and their alumnae mentors to meet in person, network, and practice their interviewing skills. Brunch was followed by the annual All-Class Reunion, where attendees enjoyed the Mercy Prayer Service, Alumnae Awards Ceremony, and cocktail party. Everyone had a chance to celebrate this year's awardees, tour the school, and enjoy delicious food and drink.
It was such a pleasure to gather as a community and reminisce on days spent in the red and gold corridors. Thank you to all who attended. We look forward to seeing you next year! |

We're renovating our 1955 cafeteria and building a new wing to provide all our current and future students with an expansive dining and community commons, seminar room, and counseling center. These spaces, covering 36,000 square feet, will foster innovation, self-advocacy, leadership, and community connections, ensuring our promise of our strategic plan "She is the Future." |

| Alumna Earns Black Belt with Help from GMA Teacher
What started out as a basic self-defense class at Gwynedd has led to a five-year-long journey in the martial arts. Liz McKenna ’19 has spent the past five years studying Karate. And on Saturday, October 21, she spent a grueling four hours testing for her first degree black belt. After demonstrating her techniques and knowledge in front of several Master instructors, Liz earned the title of first dan in the art of Shaolin Kempo Karate from the Villari’s studio in Montgomeryville. She celebrated alongside her Karate teacher (and math teacher from her time at GMA), Tom Waltrich. Congratulations, Liz!
